


How to prevent further damage to your windscreen
1. Locate the point of impact on your windscreen to determine the pattern if it is a star, bulls eye, half moon, cracks or combination.
2. Secure point of impact with cellophane tape to prevent the cracks from getting bigger, and also prevent moisture and dirt from getting into your car.
3. Do not wash your vehicle at this time as it may futher aggravate the damage area, and cause the crack to widen.
4. Avoid touching the surface of the the cracks with finger or tools.
5. Do not slam your door shut, as extra pressure may cause the crack to widen.
6. Do not park under hot, direct sunlight. Open the windows slightly to allow heat to dissipate as ho temperature may further weaken the windscreen structure.
